Costume Designer and Shop Manager • Fittings & Construction Specialist • Wardrobe Operations
My name is Hailey Eakle, a Texas based costume designer, arts instructor, and visual artist; currently the Costume Designer/Costume Shop Manager at the Midland Community Theatre. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and Technology from the University of Texas at Arlington. I then earned my Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts (Costume Design) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I spent multiple summers interning for the Pacific Conservatory Theatre, in Santa Maria, California, as a dresser, stitcher, and design assistant. I have previously designed for Arkansas Repertory Theatre, The Western Stage, Argenta Contemporary Theatre, The Public Fit Theatre, Vegas Theatre Company, Hynes – Sight Entertainment, and Onstage in Bedford.
With over 10 years of combined experience across costume design, wardrobe operations, and leadership, I bring a balance of creativity, organization, and people-centered problem solving. I’ve supported large-scale theatrical productions from design through final fittings, collaborating closely with directors, performers, and shop teams to bring stories to life with clarity and consistency.
I thrive in environments where artistry meets logistics. I’m passionate about building efficient workflows, supporting creative teams, and ensuring performers feel confident and cared for. I’m now continuing to expand my skills in costume shop management and design leadership.
